How the Humble Cookie Cutter is this years’ must have!

Making Cookie Cutter Dreams

The very humble Cookie Cutter has never really crossed our paths before, yes I’ve used them to make a few biscuits (we’re British you know, cookies are for Americans! or are they?). Usually in the shape of a dinosaur or something equally boring. Because, whilst I love to bake, I’m not very good at going ‘freelance’. I need the outline to colour in, if you know what I mean.

Are Cookies the new Cupcakes?

That was until very recently, when we invested in a 3D Printer, with the idea of printing camping parts. Glow in the dark tent pegs, etc but we got a little side tracked, like you do. We were led by our stomachs, well ok, by mine, and investigated printing cookie cutters. Not just any old cutter, the world is awash with hearts, ducks, butterflies and the like. Nope as usual with 4 Points Leisure we wanted to go outside the ‘tent’.

As you’ll probably know if you follow us, we’re ones for taking our outdoor business to Steam Shows and Countryside Days, we take it outdoors, for a large part of the summer. So we took some unusual cookie cutters, steam engines, steam rollers etc. And they were very well received, mmmmmm maybe ….

Let me introduce you to a few of our designs, excuse the icing, still a work in progress!!

We can make your Cookie Cutter dream come true.

And the best part of this, if you have a design you’d like to see immortalised in cookie dough, fondant icing or pastry, send it over to us. We’ll make your cookie cutter dream come true. Pop us an email jo@therigdens.co.uk, or call us and we can have a chat. #obvs the image should be copyright free, let’s not go stealing ideas!!  Check out our Ebay Shop for other exciting Cookie Cutters.

Until next time, #getbaking. Don’t forget to follow us @Twitter and Facebook.
