Glamping the Wight Way, Isle of Wight

Glamping the Wight Way

It’s ok, we’re not being funny with you, you can glamp how you jolly well like! This is the funky name of a beautiful glamping site on the Isle of Wight (hence the name!).

The Isle of Wight is a fantastic location, as you’re never far from the sea, and Glamping the Wight Way is only a mile across the fields from the harbour town of Yarmouth. The site itself, overlooks the River Yar.

Inside these luxurious safari lodges

Safari Lodges (because these are so much more than tents) provide the glamping roof above your head. The accommodation has ski lodge inspired interiors, each with 3 bedrooms and Egyptian cotton sheets. The wooden furniture has been made by local craftsmen, using 90% wood sourced from the Isle of Wight. Glamping the Wight Way is what we call ‘off grid’ ie no electricity, except for a few solar powered USB charging points in each lodge together with solar powered lighting. But hey, that’s why you’ve come away, to get away from modern distractions. And what a great way to reconnect with both nature and your loved ones.

These lodges give you a real feeling of luxury, with roll top baths, wood burning stoves and magnificent views. And outdoors you’ll be treated to a hot shower on your own private decked area, with some stunning views.
